Deposit: A deposit of $500 is required for application processing.
Cancellations and Refunds: If you must cancel prior to April 1, you will receive a refund of half the deposit. From April 1, you will receive a refund less $500 for administrative fees. From May 1, you will receive a refund less $1,000 for administrative fees. No refunds will be given from June 1.
Priority Registration: Returning families, individuals who participated in Summer 2018 or 2019, who register between September 6th and September 25th will automatically receive a $250 discount per session. Siblings of returning campers are grandfathered in to Priority Registration.
Early Bird Discount: All campers, returning and new, that register between September 26th and November 29th will automatically receive a $175 discount per session.
Gift of Camp: All campers, returning and new, that register between November 30th and December 31st will automatically receive a $100 discount per session.
Multi-Child Discount: If you have more than one child from your immediate family enrolled, we will apply a $100 discount for each additional child.
Transportation: Parents/Guardians are welcome to drive their camper(s) to camp. Those who choose for their camper(s) to fly are responsible for transportation fees and baggage fees to and from camp. For campers flying unaccompanied, arrangements will be made for camp staff to meet campers at, and return to, airline gates (or security barriers for campers flying not as unaccompanied minors) at Philadelphia International Airport. Detailed information is sent in the spring.
Prior to Camp: Every child attending a URJ Camp must: (a) submit all camp forms completed, including a health form with confirmation of a physical exam conducted within 12 months of opening day; (b) be covered by an appropriate health insurance policy; and, (c) have up-to-date, age-appropriate immunizations.
Immunization Policy: The URJ Camping system considers camp safety and public health as matters of utmost importance. The vaccination of all members of the camp community ranks as a key component in maintaining a safe environment and in decreasing the risk of transmission of contagious illness. Accordingly, the URJ Camping system requires that any member of the camp community in residence receive up-to-date, age-appropriate immunizations.
