We create an environment in which methodology and theory are highlighted as foundational skills through collaboration and teamwork. Our instrumentalists perform in large and small ensembles, while individual goals are supported and reinforced. Campers interpret and engage with existing works in a variety of genres while growing in their technical and musical skills.

Aaron Klaus

Instrumental Music Mentor

Aaron Klaus (he/him) is so excited to be returning for summer 2021 as the Instrumental Music mentor and head songleader! He can’t wait to work with the amazing campers of CAA as we deepen our love of music and Judaism together. He believes that CAA is a truly unique and incredible place where all campers are encouraged to be their best and fullest selves! During the school year, Aaron is the band director at North Broward Preparatory School in Florida. He holds degrees in music performance and education from Oberlin College/Conservatory and Towson University. Aside from music and Judaism, Aaron loves baseball, hiking, trying new recipes, and baking challah.
