• For the Love of the Arts

Last week, I had the honor and privilege of visiting the newest URJ 6 Points camp, the Creative Arts Academy, during their staff training week to lead two professional development sessions, one on creating inclusive environments and one on professionalism. I knew Jewish sleep away camp was where my children's’ Jewish identities were going to blossom.

  • Inspiring from the Ground Up

There’s a lyric from the country duo Dan + Shay that goes, “We built this love from the ground up,” and although it was not written about summer camp, it applies.
